Byron Bay: Chicken Curry

Hey, I made my first chicken curry! It all started with one leftover leek and after a stroll through the supermarket and a quick chat to a lady in the hostel, I cooked a really delicious lunch and probably dinner for the next days too -> saving money! 

So here is what I got: Some chicken thighs cut in pieces, one leek, a can of mushrooms, coconut cream and curry powder. Super easy and reasonable priced. Together with rice it made a nice lunch on a nice and sunny day.

Sorry about the plastic bowl. My hostel lets me leave a deposit for every piece of crockery so I used my own. I was surprised about the wok they had in the kitchen though, well equipped in these regards. 

Another alternative to pasta in hostels. I’m getting pretty excited about creating cheap, easy and good meals so be curious with what I come up next.
